Language requirements

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers programmes taught completely in the English language. To study in English, you must show you can speak, read, write and understand English at least at B1 level. This can be demonstrated by an international certificate taken in person and completed no more than three years prior to your application.

Language courses

All FME degree programmes include compulsory English language courses - General English language courses in the first year, and Technical English courses in the second year of studies. There is also a compulsory exam in the first and second year of study.

It is expected that students enrolled in programmes taught in English will have an adequate level of English, which is one of the admission requirements. You will therefore receive detailed information about possible English recognition options after your admission.
